His highly colourful, story-driven oil paintings reflect on the evolution of humankind—from the creation of the world to the unbearable lightness of its self-destruction. Drawing on global cultural influences, his allegorical works open a vibrant visual universe inhabited by imaginary animals, mythological creatures, and deities.
